Our
task is to create an environment where children can be introduced to the
gospel, and where we can help them understand spiritual truths with
age-appropriate Bible stories, showing them God's hand in their world, and
teaching them how to pray. When comparing these spiritual activities
with worldly busyness, too many cultural Christians see AWANA as just
another activity to put on the family calendar. For information on how
you can serve this dynamic outreach to our community, contact our Awana
Commander, Randy Giorgi at 347-1979.
Awana is an international,
Bible-centered youth ministry. Here at Grace we provide weekly clubs and
programs for pre-school through 6th grade. Our goal is to reach boys and
girls, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve
Him. The acronym AWANA comes from:
Approved
Workmen Are Not Ashamed
(2 Timothy 2:15).
Visit the official Awana web site with leader’s resources, parent info and
more.

Our club is aimed at teaching God’s word to all the age groups. We have
Bible stories, devotions, Bible memorization, singing, counseling, and very
exciting age appropriate games. During the year we have the regular program
running along side of the Grand Prix, The Bible Quiz, Sparks-a-Rama and
Scholarship Camps.
Transportation
We have a weekly bus running to pick up neighborhood children. If you need a
ride contact our church office at 925-2671.

Cubbies
For boys and girls that will be entering Kindergarten
within 2 years. The Awana club for preschoolers is built on two
premises:
• Young children can and should receive spiritual training.
• Home is the primary place for spiritual training.
Our preschool program meets these needs through … Fun –
and lots of it! Awana is fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids for
Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform
our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning
go hand in hand. |
