Ministries
Music
Music is an integral part of the ministries at Grace Baptist Church. There
are areas of service for children starting from grade 1 through adults of
retirement age. Special programs are presented at Christmas, Easter and
during the summer. Many participate in the weekly rehearsals and services to
praise and glorify our Lord. We are always recruiting new people, if you are
interested in serving the Lord in the music ministry either as a participant
or in leadership, the opportunities are available.
Missions
We, the members of Grace Baptist Church commit ourselves to God's plan to
disciple all peoples. We call His plan “Missions”. Missions are His own
doing, originating with God Himself. It is our desire and purpose to be
faithful to God's plan to disciple the nations as it is clearly spoke of in
the Bible. We support a number of missionaries. To receive a
copy of our Missions Directory, contact a member of our Missions Committee.
AWANA is a club program for children age 3 through 6th
grade. Their meetings consist of games, achievements, and a
Bible story time. They meet Wednesday evenings at 6:45 pm from September through May.
(See Awana page.)
Children's
Ministries
(See our Children web page)
The children's ministries of Grace Baptist Church exist to teach our
children to glorify God and to enjoy Him through life. Our vision is that
through our love, care and teaching of His Word, He will use us to bring
each child to:
Saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ,
Maturing faith as they learn to study His Word, to love worship, and to
memorize scripture
Courageous Faith - that they will be fearless in sharing the love and good
news of God with their world.
Youth
Grace Baptist Youth Ministries intend to
grow spiritually maturing followers of Jesus Christ from students at all
stages of faith, or lack of faith. We exist to GO take Christ to others, BRING
honor to God in words and actions, YIELD our lives to Him, MINISTER to
others, and to do so in the COMMUNITY of the church. This is achieved
through intentional and purposeful planning that meets the student at
various stages of their spiritual walk and moves them to maturity and
service. Youth Ministries’ key programs are: Sunday School at 10:40 AM,
Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM, our summer Navajo Missions Trip, Hume Lake Winter Camps,
and our Labor Day Weekend End of Summer Camp.
